THE FAITHFULNESS OF GOD

“What if some did not have faith? Will their lack of faith nullify the faithfulness of God? God forbid!” (Rom. 3:3, see NIV).
There are times some things happen in our lives not because we have shown “enough” faith, but because there is something that cannot fail...‘The Faithfulness of God’. God does many things in our lives as a result of His (unfailing) faithfulness not because of our own faithfulness.
Those times when our strength seems to fail us and our faith comes on the verge of faltering; God’s faithfulness, acting as an anchor keeps us strong and holds us up, and we prevail. Those moments when it because hard for us to explain how we have endured far and survived the storms of life; when we just wonder how the grounds of pressures and circumstances did not swallow us up; when our spiritual virtues went on low yet we came up high...It is ‘The Faithfulness of God’.
Being a Christian does not mean we sail through life without adversities and challenges. Mountains, valleys, waters, fire, etc are some of the ills we encounter. Moments there are when help seems to be afar, lost in distant lands, and when comfort flees; and these times are real whether you are the “best” Christian. That period when it seems everything is collapsing and you are just about to fail, and then suddenly you find something inexplicable thrusting you up and keeping you going...‘The Faithfulness of God’.
It is possible that everything fails to work...but one thing cannot fail; it is ‘The Faithfulness of God’. It is who God is: His faithful word, His faithful love, His faithful grace, and His faithful mercies. His name is faithful. No matter what comes your way, never allow situations, however tough, or the devil to close your eyes to God’s faithfulness.
It was His faithfulness that moved Him to “swear” in sealing His covenant with Abraham. “For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself” (Hebrew 6:13).
Job said, “Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him” (Job 13:15). And then he said again, “All the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come” (Job 14:14). The devil stole virtually everything in Job’s life, but he could not close Job’s eyes from beholding ‘The Faithfulness of God’.
I do not know what you are trusting God to do in your life and family; it may delay, but never give up (on God) because God cannot lie...He is too faithful. “That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie”. (Heb. 6:18). Wait on Him: “For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise” (Heb. 10:36).
I pray that you will see the faithfulness of God in your life.
