THE EFFECT OF CHARACTER

This thing called CHARACTER; it does not respect anointing...many anointed men have been brought low because of negative character. It has the ability to push away from you people who hitherto liked you. You would have noticed that some persons whom you admired so much from a distance would just become something else when you come close to them. It is negative character. This is why sometimes, some people’s grace and anointing are best appreciated and benefitted from afar off.
It is character that will make a “big” man of God to be jealous of a “small” child of God who is being used to do exploits. It will even make the so-called “big” MOG to block opportunities for the so-called “upcoming” MOG.
Character is a big setback in the life of a man no matter how anointed. It was character that made King Saul to envy David. It was character that cost him the throne. The same is happening today...negative character is swallowing up many destinies and leaking great anointing.
And one thing is that many times we are often blinded to our negative character(s). Even when someone tries to help us through rebuke or corrections, we “fight” back. Some even have walls around them that make them inaccessible to corrections.
In the end, character and true greatness are not compatible. May God in His grace and mercies build in us godly and positive character.
