CONNECTING WITH GOD’S FIRE (1)

Why does a believer need the Fire of God in his/her life?
God created us in His image and likeness. We are made in God’s nature. One dimension of this nature is HOLINESS. Because God is Holy, nothing short of Holiness can connect to Him. So, God expects us to be Holy (1 Peter 1:16; Matthew 5:48). When you are Holy, it becomes easy for you to blend with God in Holiness and also to benefit from the virtues of the kingdom.
Another dimension of the nature of God is FIRE. God is a “consuming fire” (Hebrews 12:29). If God, being fire, leaves us to be anything short of fire, there will be problem…the fellowship will not flow. One reason why God created man is for fellowship. And this fellowship involves a rubbing together of the virtues in Him with His (those same) virtues in us. So, assuming God, being Fire, makes us to be stones, there will be no fellowship. Therefore, God made us to be fire: “Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire” (Psalm 104:4).
If you want to operate at the level of God, you must operate at the level of fire. This is the place of hot fellowship with divinity. It takes fire to connect Fire. If you want to connect to Heaven and maintain an increased measure of unction to function and anointing to remain on top and untouchable by the enemy, then you need The Fire of God in your life. Fire attracts fire!
FOR MORE UNDERSTANDING, I ADVICE YOU TO GET THE FOLLOWING MESSAGES:
1.      Connecting With The Nature of Divinity
2.      The Fire of God in an Island of Coldness
3.      The Essence of Spiritual Fire
Meanwhile, I shall make references to some of these teachings and others not listed here from time to time.
Among the numerous things God’s fire will accomplish in your life and destiny is the elimination of coldness. Coldness has no place where fire dwells. Let us consider two (2) manifestations of coldness in a man’s life:
i.                    Coldness is the reason for increased vulnerability to temptation.
Coldness in a man’s life sets the man at the edge of compromise. It is a season where anything goes in his life. Even those things he used to see as wrong, during coldness he entertains them around his life and even in his life.
When a man’s life is cold that is the period the devil comes visiting. If there is fire, the devil maintains his distance. When you find that you sin so easily and/or you cannot resist temptation, check yourself, your life is cold.
Peter found himself in a cold place:
“And the servants and officers stood there, who had made a fire of coals; for it was cold: and they warmed themselves: and Peter stood with them, and warmed himself” (John 18:18).
That was the beginning of Peter’s journey to denying Jesus. Ask me, the moment Peter’s environment became cold that was the moment he actually denied Jesus. What took place later was just a physical manifestation of a spiritual fall. See what Peter did; his life was cold, so he just hung around people who lighted a strange fire. This is what happens to any cold believer, they find comfort in strange fires.
ii.                  Coldness is a thriving medium for the enemy to attack and oppress a man.
If a place is wet, reptiles will hide there and also wreck havocs. If a place is cold, the devil and his agents (demons, witches, occult, etc) will have unrestrained access. You will pity Christians who are cold or lukewarm (neither hot nor cold, Revelations 3:16).
Look at Paul;
“And the barbarous people shewed us no little kindness: for they kindled a fire, and received us every one, because of the present rain, and because of the cold. And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heat, and fastened on his hand.” (Acts 28:2-3).
The snake was hiding there because of the coldness, but the moment a man of Fire (Paul) came and lighted fire, the place became too hot for the enemy to hide.
If you do not carry fire, your life will be like a playing ground for the enemies. If Elijah didn’t carry fire, those armies would have arrested him and terminated his ministry without mercy (2 Kings 1:9-14). If an enemy will not let you rest, apply the language of fire, and they will leave you, your family and your future alone.
Now, let us explore the Fire Class 2:
-          Pray in tongues for a minimum of 45 minutes every day.
“But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost” (Jude 1:20).
You have to be a tongue blasting believer. Speaking in tongue is a language of the kingdom. No demon, not even the devil understands the language of tongues. The benefits of speaking in tongues is another class teaching on its own. Tongues lift up your spiritual frequency to heights of fire and sanctification.
-          Pray at night for a minimum of 45 minutes at least 3 times in a week
Night time is power time. I have taught on the power of the night time in the past. We shall try to re-visit that and review here if God permits. It is an error for you to sleep all your nights.
-          Fast at least 2 times in a week.
Make a commitment timetable of fasting by choosing your personal days of fasting in a week. And, the time to break your fast is not 12 noon or 3 pm…it is minimum of 6pm!! Too much eating and a “fast-less” life allows the enemies to operate.
-          Pray a minimum of 2 hours in total every day
-          Worship a minimum of 15 minutes everyday
-          You must tell someone about Jesus every day, whether by personal one-on-one evangelism or via tract sharing.
You are not completely dressed as a believer when you do not have tracts on you (inside your pocket, your bags, or your Bible).
-          Spend a minimum of 1 hour studying the Bible every day
-          Read at least 15 chapters of the Bible every day. This is well aided with the use of the audio Bible. Please note that this is does not prevent your regular daily systematic/routine Bible study.
Look at this: you can actually finish the Bible in one month if you read/listen to 40 chapters every day. This is one class we shall surely come to one day. Glory!
-          In all, be sure you spend not less than a total of 2 hours 30 minutes with the Lord every day.
CONCLUSION
Fellowshipping with God is the sweetest experience one can have. It is important to note that this class schedules could be affected by work or school for some, and this is why we are encouraged to maximize our night periods.
QUESTIONS FOR YOU: How many hours do you spend sleeping every day? When was the last time you saw the time at 2 am? Perhaps you sleep too much?!
For as many who are willing, God is blowing the winds of revival in this end time, and raising men for the harvest, even as we wait the return of the Lord. And one thing that you need to make the rapture is The Fire of God…Elijah had it and it was easy for him to be “raptured” to Heaven on the chariots of fire. May God’s pour His fire upon our lives in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Stay rapturable.

WHO ARE YOU IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD?

1. VISITORS
You only come to God from time to time. You are a periodic and seasonal believer. You pray this week, and you don't pray for the next 2 days or 1 week; you only read the Bible on Church days…You are a visitor to God's presence and a stranger to Heaven! A visitor to God’s presence has no place with God and His power.
2. GATE-CRASHERS
A gate-crashing Christian is he/she who comes to God only when there is a problem he/she has to solve, or some enemies pursuing him/her. These are the people who wake up and read just Psalm 91; then they proceed. If they have to pray, they look for Psalms and other scriptures with promises and they begin to claim them. How do you know them? They argue that some things God expects from His children are "Old Testament" and they claim they are "New Testament" Christians, so things like paying tithes do not concern them.
They are the ones that continue to quote a man of God who have said something that suits them and their worldly tendencies. They can quote a man of God as many times as possible, but they cannot quote the word of God. The only scriptures they know and familiar with are the ones that promise good things and the ones they use to rain “Holy Ghost Fire” on their enemies.
If they are in a place where Heaven, Hell, Holiness, etc are being preached, watch out, they will change Church. They prefer where they will hear motivational messages and the likes. Is it not "funny" that they can claim the blessings in Deuteronomy 28:1-14, but when you tell them Deuteronomy 22:5 (about dressing), they say it is Old Testament...Imagine, the blessing is not Old Testament, but the instruction has become Old Testament?! They are Gate-crashers. These ones cannot be raptured or go to Heaven. Why? They only chose which scripture to obey.
3. BEGGERS
These people depend totally on others for their spiritual wellbeing. They are the people who will always say things like, "Pastor or Brother X did not ask after me." They can change a Church simply because according to them, their Pastor did not notice they were not in Church. They beg for prayers, and if possible, they will seek who will fast for them. They cannot spend time to pray, read the Bible, fast, meditate....NO! Rather, they carry prayer points around, seeking on whose neck to lay their burden, instead of laying their burdens at the feet of Jesus. They jump from one prayer house to another. They are easily deceived by signs and wonders and fall cheaply to false prophets/teachers and deceiving spirits. They are like the brother in Acts 9:33; he literally depended on the brethren for all he needed.
4. UNSTABLE BRETHREN
They are not visitors, nor are they gate-crashers, they are unstable brethren. Today, they are hot, tomorrow they are cold. They are lukewarm men and women…they don’t last in challenges (Revelation 3:16). Today they are strong, tomorrow they are weak. They preach well, but they do not live well what they preach. They can preach about why it is important to fast, but go and look at their lives, they eat too much and hardly do they fast. They can preach holiness but they do not live holiness. They are preachers of the word but are hardly doers of the same (James 1:22).
When they are in the midst of brethren, they are hot, when they are alone, they are cold. They are pretenders. When Holy men are around, they sound holy...When they are in the midst of other men, they sound just like them. The line of demarcation between them and the world is so so  so thin, that it almost does not exist. They are yet to be fully separated from the world and set apart for God. They want to serve God, but they do not want to leave the world - their ways of dressings, makeups, etc. They can spend 5 hours watching movies, but can hardly spend 30 minutes praying. They are unstable brethren with no real future.
"A double minded man is unstable in all his ways" (James 1:8)
It was this instability that implicated Reuben in destiny.
"Unstable as water, thou shalt not excel" (Genesis 49:4)
5. DWELLERS
These are the people whose hearts and ways please God; they are the ones God is looking for. They are not just worshippers, they are true worshippers, worshipping in Spirit and in truth (John 4:24).
“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High” (Psalm 91:1).
These ones do not serve God based on conditions, but they love God and serve Him for who He is and His redemptive impact on humanity. They don’t go to God, questioning Him why He has not given them life partners, rather they believe in His word and timing. When they “fail”, they do not blame God or God’s work. In season and out of season, they remain believers. In the valley and on the mount tops, they are Christians. They pray, read the word, wait upon God, and live for God. Looking at them, you can tell they are of God. Coming close to tell, you know they have been with God. They do not talk anyone; they do not dress anyone; they do not live anyhow…in speaking, dressing, and in living, God is glorified in them. The Bible says, even “God is not ashamed to be called their God” (Hebrews 11:16).
QUESTIONS FOR YOU
Beloved, which category do you belong? How does Heaven see you at the moment: A Visitor, A Gate-crasher, A Beggar, An Unstable Christian, or A Dweller in His presence? How much time do you have for God among your schedules? How much time do you spend for God? How much time do you spend with God? What has quenched the fire of God’s word, prayers, evangelism, fellowship, and holiness in your life: movies, friends, women, men, relationship, business, school, environment, movies, TV, sports, or SIN? Can you meet God in this present condition? Can you make Heaven in this present state?  What is the state of your life? What is the state of your heart? Clean, defiled, lustful, worldly, vengeful, hatred, prostitution, cheat, malice??? God wants to bring revival in your life…MAY THAT FIRE OF REVIVAL BEGIN TO BURN IN YOU NOW IN JESUS’ NAME! PRAY!!

PUSH OR PULL: WHICH IS DRAGGING YOU AWAY?

Two (2) ways the devil cause men to depart from the will of God:
1. He PULLS them away with what looks like better options/alternatives elsewhere.
The code for this strategy is lust of the eyes, but the devil makes men see those options as "better opportunities; bigger open doors; greater avenues" etc. If you follow that, you have been pulled out from God's will and out from cover...then the devil rains frustration, afflictions, sufferings eventually.
2. He PUSHES them out from God's will.
He might make where they are to be tough, frustrating and stressful so that they can leave where God placed them. He tried to push Isaac down to Egypt, but God ensured Isaac remained in the land (Genesis 26).
Friend, the best place to be in life is not inside the best car, the best house, the best office...the best place to be is Where God wants you to be; it is called THE WILL OF GOD. Are you already succumbing to the strategy of satan to push or pull you out of God's will for your life, marriage/relationship, career, ministry? May every manipulation from hell to deceive you out from God's will be overthrown in Jesus' name! May no strategy of satan succeed in pushing you away from the narrow way and pulling you to Hell in Jesus’ name.
Shalom. Maranatha

HE MAY BE YOUR FATHER, BUT DO NOT TOUCH HIS GLORY!

Heaven has zero tolerance to self-glory!
When Herod killed James, it seems God spared him. When he took Peter and put him in prison, God spared him. In fact, when the angel went to rescue Peter, Herod was asleep, and the angel could have just stopped over and killed him for touching the Lord’s anointed, but he was spared. When he killed (murdered) innocent soldiers guarding the prison Peter was kept, God still spared him. But when he touched God's glory, Heaven killed him. It was an angel that even struck him dead. I think the angel killed him because the angel knew the implication of what it means to take God’s glory. The angel did not have to first go and seek God’s “consent/approval” on whether Herod should die. He killed him there, and perhaps would give report later. Why? Heaven has zero tolerance to a man taking the glory of God to himself. It was like hell could not wait for him to reach hell, and so worms started eating him right from where he was.
LESSON: Do not touch the glory meant for God. Heaven has zero tolerance to this. (Isaiah 42:8).
God can show you his glory - He showed Moses. God can reveal His glory in your life, work, ministry - Solomon encountered it. But, it is calamitous to think the glory is yours in all of these. The glory is God's, and because he is your Father does not mean you should take His glory.
Whatever God is doing through you is not because you are the best…it is for His glory. So, never allow people cultivate the attitude of heaping praises to you…when they do, return the glory to God, and as much as possible, let men know that you deserve zero glory for whatever they are seeing – it is the Lord!
Maranatha.

EMBRACING THE GLORY BEHIND THE MOUNTAIN

“Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain: And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed…” (Isaiah 40:4-5a).
It is clear that there are some things that have to be sorted/removed before there can be a revelation of God’s glory in a man’s life. And one of these things is called MOUNTAIN.
The mountain represents an obstacle that when it stands before a man, it denies that man from experiencing the manifestation of God’s glory in his life, ministry, career, destiny and eternity. This mountain can be a negative foundation which may be family or sin. It can be a manipulation or affliction. It can be ignorance or unbelief…it is anything that is standing against a man and God’s plans for him.
Jesus told the disciples, “Go into the village that is against you” (Matthew 21:2a). Some villages or family background can be against a man in life and ministry. And they are not to be ignored. Jabez and Jephthah had almost a similar background problem, but while Jabez prayed to God to change every wrong thing in his life which God did, Jephthah on the other hand waited until a wrong foundation displaced him and dislodged him. Every mountain left to itself will remain in a state of rest.
But, we know that mountains can move…hallelujah!!!
Jesus gave two (2) insights:
“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith” (Mark 11:23).
1.      Faith
2.      Speak to the mountain
Friend, mountains do not answer to tears, they answer to faith backed words. You don’t beg mountains and obstacles, you “Arise and contend thou before the mountains” (Micah 6:1). And in the name of Jesus, every mountain of limitation, frustration, delay, denial, manipulation , etc, shall crash at the mention of that name.
Hear me beloved, the mountain may “escape the sword of Hazael; the sword of Jehu, but not the sword of Elisha” (1 Kings 19:17). You are that Elisha – you are a prophet of your generation and your destiny. The mountains may be mighty, but we know that the mighty have fallen, and this mountain shall fall in Jesus’ name.
Tonight, I join my faith with your faith; in the name of my God and your God – The Most High; let every mountain that have occluded the revelation of God’s glory in your life and family be removed IN JESUS’ NAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
May angels from Heaven attend to you as you pray tonight. Maranatha…He is coming soon. Peace

WHEN A MAN’S JOB CLOSES THE GATES OF HEAVEN AGAINST OTHERS AND HIMSELF

There are some jobs that not only expose you to committing sins, but also put you in sin. There are jobs that require you compromising (no matter how little) before you can get things done. While in others, you do not have to directly compromise, but what you stand for, market, produce, or promote may be the reason others are missing Heaven and going to hell. What is happening is that your job is closing the gates of Heaven against others and yourself.
Children of God who find themselves in such situations usually give the excuse that they have no option than remain there because according to them that is their source of “daily bread”. But this is not correct.
Firstly, the Bible teaches us that God and not salary/stipend/remuneration is the source of our daily bread. “Give us this day our daily bread” (Matthew 6:11). God is Jehovah Jireh and not “Jehovah-Salary.” He promises to supply the needs of His children not according to their monthly salaries or daily income, but “according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19). We learn as believers to trust God for our upkeep.
Any job that you have to acquire or maintain by sinning and compromise will only earn you “rewards of iniquity” (Acts 1:18), and these become traps on a man’s way to Heaven. Salvation may be free, but Heaven certainly will cost something. For a man, Jesus told him, “If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in Heaven: and come and follow me.” (Matthew 19:21). This is the cost of being a true disciple. Today, there are many multitudes in church, many fans of preachers and churches, and less true followers and disciples of Jesus.
Jesus raised an issue with that man: One, if he wants to be perfect; Two, if he wants to have treasure in Heaven; Three, if he wants to follow Him as a disciple…then, he must let go! Jesus said: “Be ye therefore perfect, as your Heavenly Father is perfect” (Matthew 5:48); “Lay up treasures for yourselves in Heaven” (Matthew 6:20a); “Follow me” (Matthew 4:19a). It is clear that everything He told that man was real, but the man went away because he could not consider letting go of things that meant so much to Him (but meant nothing to Heaven). The man walked away from eternal life.
There are certain businesses that believers must not engage or transact in. Some include:
-         Sale of alcohol or cigarette whether wholesale, retail or at the point of consumption. A believer must not promote in any way, by advert or collaboration, the sale or marketing of alcohol and cigarette
-         The sale of made in hell attires or commodities such as pornographic posters or tapes, ungoldly and harlotry dresses and materials, etc. Trading in these and other similar ones is tantamount to being a registered marketer for the devil in disbursing hell commodities around.
-         Also included is the movie and music industry. How will you say you are a believer and you are at ease and comfortable in a movie industry where you take up roles involving nude and pornographic scenes and other forms of immorality? It is like letting a so-called daily bread take you to hell. How can you be a sponsor of a movie or project with undertone of immorality? As a photographer, how can you be a believer and see nothing wrong taking nude pictures? You may say you are not the one naked, but you are definitely a part of the process of conspiracy onto promoting the works of the devil. If you have truly yielded to Christ and committed to making Heaven, you will not accept sponsorship by an alcohol or tobacco company…No, you will not. The list is endless beloved.
Secondly, when your job is that of compromise, having to lie always to get things done, among other iniquity, yet you say because of your daily bread you have to continue there, you indeed have to face an eternal reality: WILL YOU ALLOW YOUR DAILY BREAD TAKE YOU TO HELL?
The love of money is the reason why many believers try to put up defence while they work in certain places that are unpleasing to God and a disadvantage to eternity. Consider this: if a man who takes alcohol will go to hell, what then would be the reward of the person who produced the alcohol or the person who sold it to him? The truth is that you cannot shut the doors of Heaven against another person and send that person to hell then you think you are heading to Heaven and you expect God to open the same gates of Heaven to you. “It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him through whom they come!” (Luke 17:1). Since it is sinful to smoke and take alcohol, it is also wrongful and sinful to make, promote/market or sell these things. Since it is sinful to wear ungodly/lustful garments and attires, it is also wrongful to sell them. It is like causing others to stumble. Both the buyers and sellers will be judged alike by God.
There are times it becomes clear that you cannot remain in that business/organisation/job and serve God committedly and in holiness; such are the times it becomes eternally necessary to move in order to remain acceptable and in the will  of God.
May no job deny us Heaven! May what we sell/market/produce/invent…may our so-called daily bread not stand between us and Heaven in Jesus’ name. Now is the time to get things right. Maranatha.

ONCE UPON A TIME

There are many who say they believe in God but they do not obey God. Why? This is because believing is not the same as obeying.
Look at Jonah; he believed God was the one that spoke to him to go to Nineveh. He believed it was Nineveh God wanted him to go. But he disobeyed and went to Tarshish. He believed in God, yet disobeyed God. He landed in the belly of a fish. The belly of a fish is symbolic of hell – the place where disobedience leads to ultimately. “Every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward; how shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation…” (Hebrews 2:2-3).
The same way, many who believe(d) and accepted Jesus and become Born Again eventually turn around and disobey His words and pattern for the saved life. They are like those who once sang, “Hail Him, Hail Him,” but alas they ended up with “Crucify Him, Crucify Him.” Question: Did they once know Him? Yes! Then what happened? Their testimonies and salvation became ONCE UPON A TIME!
Believing is not the same as obeying. Believing puts your name in the Book of Life; obeying keeps your name in the Book of Life. Believing is not made perfect without obeying. The same way, salvation without a consistent life of obedience is not complete. Believing in itself is obedience, but for believing to be made perfect, there has to be consistent obedience. This is what the Bible means by “When your obedience is complete” (2 Corinthians 10:6b). Even Jesus perfected salvation through obedience: “Though He were a Son, yet learned He obedience by the things He suffered: And being made perfect…” (Hebrews 5:8, 9a).
Many people who once believed and were saved perhaps years ago but now living in some kind of disobedience still assume the names that were once written in the Lamb’s Book of Life are still there. This is a costly assumption. The names truly entered the Book of Life at that point of becoming born again. However, that event becomes ONCE UPON A TIME if a man lives contrary to God’s word.
Let me explain something important here. When you become saved, something happens in Heaven, and this is called “The joy of salvation” (Psalm 50:12). This is what Jesus talks about “Joy shall be in Heaven over one sinner that repents” (Luke 15:7).
This joy means many things in Heaven. Once this joy reverberates in Heaven, Jesus’ words become expressed on your behalf; “In my Father’s house are many mansions…I go to prepare a place for you” (John 14:2). The mansions in Heaven are for these categories of people: one, the saints of God already in Heaven; two, those on earth who are already Born Again and living according to the eternal will of God (praying, winning souls, helping others, etc). There are also abandoned mansions in Heaven; these ones belong to those who once knew God but backslidded. Work ceases on a mansion once that person backslides. And should that person dies and goes to hell, the work becomes permanently suspended and the house is closed up. This is what happened to Judas Iscariot. Jesus showed someone the mansion of Judas, and it was locked up and something like “closed forever” or so written on it.
Now, when you become Born Again, your name enters the Book of Life. This is almost the same time Heaven sounds with joy on your behalf. More so, this is when your building starts in Heaven. Those who got Born Again at the point of death and never had any eternal investments, they go to Heaven and they live in houses not comparable to those of God’s children who have laboured and worked for the kingdom.
What then happens if someone who was once Born Again becomes lukewarm and backslides (whether in his heart without people knowing but God knows, or in his ways which is obvious to all)? The person’s name is removed from the Book of Life. The work on his/her mansion stops temporary. This is why nothing done outside the will of God is of eternal fruition; the more reason it pays to live by the will of God. “Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of Heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in Heaven” (Matthew 7:21).
When a man does anything for God outside the will of God, he has succeeded in working for Heaven as a stranger; it is not on his record in Heaven. But when the man comes back to God genuinely, that is when Heaven starts counting on his behalf. Amazing but true! This is why God would tell some people who have built ministry for years, telling them that He (God) has no hand in what they are doing. God will tell them to go and start something else and begin to have treasures stored in Heaven. Many will disobey and reach the gate of Heaven to find out there were no rewards for what they did.
It is good to believe and become saved; it is most important to preserve your salvation by living in obedience. God does not seek partial obedience because it is the same as disobedience. Christianity is a call to absolute and consistent obedience. It starts at the gate of Salvation – where a man first believes and becomes Born Again. Then the man is placed on the narrow way leading to Heaven. And the way to remain on the narrow way is absolute surrender to the will of God in daily choices and daily living.
Believing in God signals you have begun the journey to Heaven; obedience to God ensures that you finish the journey in Heaven. Some people had no serious issue with believing and accepting Christ, but they have serious issues arising with obeying Christ’s standard of what to wear, how not to dress, where not to visit, what not to do, what not to watch, etc.
Disobedience is one single and very potent weapon the devil uses to fight the   eternity of a believer. The devil lies to people that once they are saved, they are forever saved, so it does not matter how they talk, dress, or live. So, many people are being taught (erroneously) that once your name enters the Book of Life, no devil or sin can remove it because according to these false teachers you can continue to sin knowing well that the righteousness of God covers you. This is heresy!
It is possible to have once been saved, but to become a ONCE UPON A TIME Christian when your eternity in Heaven is compromised and marred by immorality, lukewarmness and other sins.
Where you started from is (important but) not as important as where you will end. Thank God you became Born Again many years ago and your name entered the Book of Life. But dear friend, the biggest question confronting anyone of us on this journey is not when we got Born Again, but “IS YOUR NAME STILL IN THE BOOK OF LIFE” or it used to be there ONCE UPON A TIME?
What has happened to those fervency and passion for God and the things of God which you had years back? When you were on campus, when you were a fellowship leader or an church executive….what has happened to the Godly discipline and holiness you lived and preached with so much convictions?
Has your testimony in Heaven become ONCE UPON A TIME??? It is time to return and seek God in true revival and holiness. Heaven is real, so is Hell.
