EMBRACING THE GLORY BEHIND THE MOUNTAIN

“Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain: And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed…” (Isaiah 40:4-5a).
It is clear that there are some things that have to be sorted/removed before there can be a revelation of God’s glory in a man’s life. And one of these things is called MOUNTAIN.
The mountain represents an obstacle that when it stands before a man, it denies that man from experiencing the manifestation of God’s glory in his life, ministry, career, destiny and eternity. This mountain can be a negative foundation which may be family or sin. It can be a manipulation or affliction. It can be ignorance or unbelief…it is anything that is standing against a man and God’s plans for him.
Jesus told the disciples, “Go into the village that is against you” (Matthew 21:2a). Some villages or family background can be against a man in life and ministry. And they are not to be ignored. Jabez and Jephthah had almost a similar background problem, but while Jabez prayed to God to change every wrong thing in his life which God did, Jephthah on the other hand waited until a wrong foundation displaced him and dislodged him. Every mountain left to itself will remain in a state of rest.
But, we know that mountains can move…hallelujah!!!
Jesus gave two (2) insights:
“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith” (Mark 11:23).
1.      Faith
2.      Speak to the mountain
Friend, mountains do not answer to tears, they answer to faith backed words. You don’t beg mountains and obstacles, you “Arise and contend thou before the mountains” (Micah 6:1). And in the name of Jesus, every mountain of limitation, frustration, delay, denial, manipulation , etc, shall crash at the mention of that name.
Hear me beloved, the mountain may “escape the sword of Hazael; the sword of Jehu, but not the sword of Elisha” (1 Kings 19:17). You are that Elisha – you are a prophet of your generation and your destiny. The mountains may be mighty, but we know that the mighty have fallen, and this mountain shall fall in Jesus’ name.
Tonight, I join my faith with your faith; in the name of my God and your God – The Most High; let every mountain that have occluded the revelation of God’s glory in your life and family be removed IN JESUS’ NAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
May angels from Heaven attend to you as you pray tonight. Maranatha…He is coming soon. Peace
