GROUNDS IN 2013

“And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry” (Gen. 8:13).

“Covenantly” speaking, the first day of the first month equally symbolizes the end of an era and the ushering in of something new. For Noah and co, it was the drying up of those flood that soaked up the earth and wrought much destruction, and then it was the beginning of something new...“Behold, the face of the ground was dry”.

By spiritual insight, there is no doubt that today, the first day of the first month symbolizes many things to many people. To some, it is the time to set out to fulfil one mandate or the other. To another, it is the time for the manifestations of one promise or the other. But one thing is common to all, “Behold, the face of the ground was dry”. The word ground is coming up again, thus confirming the prophecies the Lord gave concerning 2013. The Lord said there are many grounds in 2013; sinking grounds and stepping grounds...many great SHIPS (relationSHIPS, partnerSHIPS, leaderSHIPS, etc) will be sinking while many will be stepping on higher grounds.

The Lord said the coming glory of the church and his people is bigger and beyond 2013. But not everyone will partake of this coming glory that is to be revealed, only the few who will live in faith, obedience, and HOLINESS; those who will carry His presence and keep their testimony. What is this testimony? To remain unspotted in the world! “That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish” (Ephesians 5:27). You cannot live in sin and expect to partake of the miraculous in 2013.

God is not raising a new band of prosperity (and faith) preachers. NO. There is no more room for a generation and band of men who will add to the tears in Heaven. Rather, He shall be opening grounds for as many who will champion the cause of holiness and herald the coming of the Lord.

This is the year of the “Manifestation of God’s Glory” in every sphere of our lives. He has been talking about a coming glory since last year. The other day He led me to share with a congregation on “Partaking of the coming Glory”. And now it has been confirmed severally. It is my prayer that nothing shall turn our testimony into “Ichabod” (1 Samuel 4:21).
