THE END OF THE WICKED

Never envy the wicked, corrupt and ungodly because you won't envy their (eternal) end.

"I have seen the foolish taking roots: but suddenly I cursed his habitation. His children are far from safety, and they are crushed in the gate, neither is there any to deliver them. Whose harvest the hungry eateth up...and the robber swallowed up their substance" (Job 5:3-5).

"I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree. Yet he passed away, and lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found" (Psalm 37:35-36).

"The triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the hypocrite is but for a moment" (Job 20:5).

This is a year of judgment for the wicked if they chose not to repent. All the enemies of our lives as individuals and our nation Nigeria, this is God's judgment: "The transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off" (Psalm 37:38).

"But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the Lord shall be consumed" (Psalm 37:20).
But for as many who will live for God and be perfect, God says: "Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is PEACE" (Psalm 37:37). He says "you shall be far from TERROR(ism)" (Isaiah 54:14).

Be sure not to envy the ungodly no matter what they accumulate...and don't fall to the temptation to join them or be like them. It is the end that matters.

May God help us to finish well. May we not fall by the wayside. In 2013, there shall be no evil report over my life and your life.
