TEXT: Job 27:5
The anointing is not scarce today,
but character is in real deficit. This is why there are many anointed persons
with less impact because anointing may bring lifting; it takes character to
sustain the height.
You can be an “anointed hero”,
thank God for you! But if you have no integrity, you are an anointed failure! This
is why it is possible to be anointed and yet end up a disappointment when
anointing is without integrity and character.
Anointing without character/integrity
is like a car carrying full tank fuel but with no engine oil…it will knock down
in no time. For the same reason, it is not possible to go far for God with an
anointed head but with a corrupted life.
Anointing is not a license to
Heaven. The Bible didn’t say “without anointing no man shall see God”; rather
it says: “without holiness no man shall see God” (Hebrews 12:14).
Achan was a a great man of war that
was a part of victory, but he failed integrity test; his destiny folded up. Many
people who starting making some impact waves but suddenly went into extinction,
if you check well, many of them slipped in the slimepits of lack of integrity
which swallows kings no matter the power and anointing.
“And the vale of Siddim was full of
slimepits; and the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, and fell there; and they
that remained fled to the mountain” (Genesis 14:10).
It was this type of slimepits that
swallowed Samson, Judas, Ananias and Sapphira among others. Character failure
and not heart failure is the faster killer of greatness in destiny and
eternity.
If you value the oil upon your life
and the grace at work in you, there are certain things you will not do, there
are certain places you will not go, there are certain friends/companies you
will break off from, there are certain clothes you will not wear, there are
certain phone numbers you would delete off, there are certain things you would
not say, there are certain music/pictures that would not be on your phone or
computer.
Job had the oil (Job 29:6b), and he
had integrity (Job 27:5)…no wonder he never stopped being God’s servant (Job
1:8; 2:3; 42:7, 8). Friend, pursue and manifest the anointing, but ensure the
character is that of holiness. By this, you will make impact in destiny and
make Heaven in eternity. I pray; you shall not be an anointed failure!
WOW, VERY TRUE.
