Some years ago, in the
ancient city of Kano, I had the privilege of sharing something specific with
two separate congregations within a one week interval. First, as a guest
minister at the Federal College of Education, and secondly as guest minister at
the TreasuredLife Bible Church Teens Fellowship. This was the birth of a passion
that came burning inside me and upon that premise came the mandate, “preserve the seed of the next generation”.
I had been preaching about and against abortion from the spiritual and medical
perspective.
If you take time to
look at the mandate of TreasuredHouse,
you will find that it is not only about True
Greatness. Here is it; “To replicate the True life of Greatness in
this generation and preserve the seed of the next generation”. We are
mandated to PRESERVE the next generation through sharing the word of His grace
and holiness. And by God’s grace, we have been committed to that instruction.
As a practicing Medical
Doctor, I get to see women coming to seek for abortion and also many who had
committed abortion been rushed to the hospital due to emerging complications of
abortion. It is no news that many women go on to die from the complications of
abortion. Many who had successfully committed abortion later are webbed in the
claws of infertility or one problem or the other. For those who mistakenly
approach me for abortion, I end up sharing God’s word with them and many would
leave my office certainly going elsewhere to get it done.
Why do many commit
abortion? The leading reason I have gotten is the fact that they were not married
and cannot be seen to be pregnant. While some have admitted that their acts of
abortion in the past were wrong and sinful, some obviously see me as an
overzealous doctor who has nothing to offer them and thus they seek help
elsewhere.
Friend, if there is one
sin God frowns at so badly, it is the sin of abortion. Pre-marital sex is
wrong, and abortion is even worse. I read a revelation from hell how women who
committed abortion on earth without repentance are been kept in a separate
place where they are tormented day and night with torment of fire. Abortion is
a sin that breaks the heart of God.
Many think what is been
aborted is “mere blood”, but that is not true. The unborn baby’s heart starts
to work three (3) weeks after fertilization just before you even miss your
menses. So, when you remove that pregnancy, in God’s eyes and in truth, you
have committed murder…and murderers are heading to hell. The aborted children
have been seen in Heaven and Jesus never ceases to make reference to the
mothers that aborted them in the name of “unwanted pregnancy”. I encourage you

Finally, I give you
this illustration; during an ejaculation, the man releases about 200 to 300
million sperms, but only one (1) sperm is able to fertilize the egg after
literally beating the other sperms in a contest. Now, the population of Nigeria
stands at 160 million…So, when you abort the product of that fertilization-the
baby, you have killed a sperm that had the capacity of more than 200 million
people (more than the population of Nigeria), therefore you have simply killed
a whole nation, and God will never take it lightly with you.
Have you committed
abortion in the past; you need God’s forgiveness. Are you at the verge of
abortion at the moment…I beg you to keep the pregnancy and let the child live.
Preserve the seed of the next generation. And the best way to avoid having to
consider abortion is to stay away from premarital sex. May you never meet the
consuming side of God. Let us preserve the next generation. God bless you.
