Brothers,
Please, be careful the kind of hairstyle you keep.
This thing people say that "It doesn't matter" is causing a lot of
obstacles on this race for many people. The fact that everyone (including your leader/mentor/pastor)
does it does not make it right. They say God does not mind those things, but I
tell you the truth, God minds. Those things they say are satanic deceptions.
I found out that hairstyles have eternal
significance. Read a revelation of Heavenly judgement shown to a man of God and
one thing He noted while there was that those who practice funky hairstyles
have no place in Heaven. Brothers, beware of celebrity hairstyles, men plaiting
their hair, etc. Let us not allow those who "have no place to go"
determine where we will go. God will help us cut off things that can cut people
off the book of life.
"And if
thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for
thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast
into hell fire" (Matthew 18:9).
The "eye" here could be hairstyle, it
could be a certain relationship, it could be that faulty business you are
doing, it could be that cloth you are wearing which is not good, etc. Indeed,
whatever the "eye" may be, it should go. It can be painful, but it
will be gainful. Sometimes, whatever does not pain us will not pay us.
No wonder this road is called "The Narrow
Way"...it has no space for all the worldliness and sinful passions that
the broad way accomodates. May God keep us on this narrow way and remove
anything that may stand between us and eternal life.
