TRIUMPHING IN YOUR HOME (1)

TEXT: Song of Sol. 2:15

We are in the end time and anytime from now the rapture will take place. Revival is bursting forth in many churches and fellowships and altars are been empowered by fire with minimal place for the devil. And then it appears the enemy has extended the battlefront to homes and marriages. To this end, there are people who are Christians in church but their “home record” is nothing to write home about. They triumph away from home, but they live in defeat at home. For this reason many are in bitterness, malice, unforgiveness and hurts.

Readiness for rapture and preparation for Heaven is not restricted to not putting on false finger nails or makeups. There are many people who don’t do these things, but their marriages are obstacles on their way to Heaven. Yesterday we saw how the devil can take advantage of certain loopholes in order to invade homes and cause hurts. His ultimately aim is to pull many to hell through bitterness and unforgiveness.

Today on SPIRIT SWORD we highlight some wrong pillars you must not erect in your marriage relationship. If they are available, they are habitations for those little foxes that spoil the marriage vine.

(1) SECRECY: Whatever you keep secret from each other would end up working against you two. The enemy thrives on secrecy.

(2) UNFORGIVENESS

(3) THIRD PARTY INFLUENCE: You must learn to manage your misunderstandings and not let them become quarrels (there is a difference between the two). You should not engage third parties to settle your misunderstandings. It can cultivate a site for potential wrong counsels.

(4) BREAK DOWN IN COMMUNICATION

(5) PRIDE AND LACK OF SUBMISSION: Pride is the engine room of lack of submission. Proud people have problem with submission. An unbroken heart is closer to a broken marriage.

PRAYER: Lord, I pull down every negative pillar in my family that the enemy is clinging to and taking advantage of to generate conflicts in Jesus’ name. Amen.
