"And he took the blind man
by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and
put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought. And he looked up, and said,
I see men as trees, walking. After that he put his hands again upon his eyes,
and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly"
(Mark 8:23-25).
Did you notice that after it
seems the first touch did not work fully on the man, Jesus touched him AGAIN.
The other time I explained that Thomas was not there when Jesus first visited,
but he perhaps prayed and he got another chance. Also, Samson's father missed
the first angelic visitation, but he prayed, and the angel came AGAIN.
God is willing to give anyone
another chance to get touched again, to get it right again, to rise up again,
and to shine again. Whatever seem to have altered the cause of the first touch,
do not let the enemy whisper that all is over about your case...just the way He
touched the man again and that second time worked and the man saw clearly, He
is willing to touch you one more time.
Sing with me; "Touch me once
again, oh Lord".
