OVERCOMING THE ENEMY BY THE WORDS YOU SPEAK

THE DEVIL MIGHT HAVE A SAY, NEVER LET HIM HAVE THE FINAL SAY OVER YOUR LIFE…IF HE DOES, HE MIGHT JUST HAVE HIS WAY

I had an experience at a point in my life that changed my line of thought with regards to the activities of the devil. One day we were in the clinic and one of my friends and colleagues (now late) during a discussion said that we should go spend time catching some fun and I replied that I had some things to do with my money and so I won’t be able to afford the luxurious proposal. He then cut in and said that “you are saving money; money that you will die and won’t be able to spend”. Those words ordinarily looked normal, but I can remember how I reacted to those words; I retorted immediately and said “I shall not die…I reject death in Jesus’ name”. Himself perhaps never understood why I said that being that he was a Muslim. Let me tell you what popped up such fierce rebuttal from me.

The Lord gave me the spiritual understanding that those words the young man spoke were not from him, but the devil had taken over his lips to declare to me that “you are saving money; money that you will die and won’t be able to spend it”. And so, my spirit working by the leading of the Holy Spirit reacted by speaking out against those words, thus I confessed “I shall not die…I reject death in Jesus’ name”. Then the Lord gave me an insight from His word which I am about to share with you.

The Lord had said to me that when Joseph was approaching his brothers and they conspired to kill him, it was not the brothers that were speaking but the devil took over them and spoke through them; “let us KILL him and throw him into one of the pits, and we shall say a wild animal killed him” (Genesis 37:20). This summarized the works of the devil which include; ‘to kill, to destroy, and to lie’. So, those words were spoken by Joseph’s brothers but were however coming from the devil who wanted to terminate Joseph’s life and destiny. The same way, those words used by my friends were coming from the devil, but thank God I was spiritually sensitive enough to sense that and rejected it there and then.

Let us see what happened when the devil spoke through Joseph’s brothers. I am sure you remember that Jesus came from the tribe of Judah, and all along when the others were conspiring to kill Joseph, Judah had not been a part of it. The Bible says that many years before Levi (the priest) was born he had been in the loins of his great grandfather, Abraham (Hebrews 7:9, 10). Remember that Abraham birth Isaac who birth Jacob, and then Jacob birth Levi…but Levi while yet in the loins of his great grandfather was said to have paid tithe in him (Abraham). So, seeing it that Jesus was to come from the tribe of Judah, and was literally in the loins of Judah…Judah spoke out against killing Joseph, and the Holy Spirit made me realize that it was not Judah that actually spoke but Jesus (who was in the loins of Judah)..Glory!!! What did He say? It was very typical of what Jesus would say: “Let us not kill him” (Genesis 37:27). And beloved, the words of Jesus (through Judah) prevailed over the counsel of the devil (through the others) against Joseph, and Joseph lived. Imagine what would have happened if Judah did not speak.

It was an experience that changed my life. The devil has another side which is a pretentious character. He would be at work through somebody’s life and people around would not know that he is there, and it would take sensitive people to know. When somebody is just saying things about you and your life in the negative, please do not keep quiet…speak out and reject everything that is contrary to God’s plans for your life, and you might just be silencing the enemy’s counsel over your life.

Speak God’s word against every negative word being spoken by whosoever against your life or your dreams. When someone says what you are pursuing cannot work, tell them it can work by God’s grace. Avoid keeping quiet. Remember, “For by thy words thou shalt be justified” (Matthew 12:37);  “Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you” (Numbers 14:28); “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony” (Revelations 12:11).

Do not allow anyone to use their professions to alter the destiny ahead of you. Use positive confession to usurp every negative profession about your life. The devil might have a say but never let him have the final say over your life. Even Jesus used the word to counter the devil. Speak words that carry life about your life and counter every negative remark against your life irrespective of who is saying it.

WELFARE VS WARFARE (DEVELOPING A WARFARE MENTALITY)

There are 2 ways to get to a destination you desire; first is through a free ride, and you will agree that this one doesn’t happen all the time. The second way you can get to where you desire is paying a ‘fare’; transport-fare. You don’t always get a free ride and that does not mean that God does not like you. There are times when you do not have a transport-fare and you cannot disappear to where you want to reach, so you trek all the way. Now, the fact that you had to trek and no free ride came, does that mean your life lacks God’s favour? NO! What this means is that, in life, there is a price to pay for you to move from one point to another, and from one position to another. Those who remain at a point for too long “may” be guilty of not willing to pay the price that will bring the change in level in their lives.

Now, in destiny, there are 2 ways to change your situation/position and get to where you desire. The first is “free”…it just happens for you. This is called favour (like a free ride) and is very sweet. And then I tell you the second way…this is by paying a FARE, this time it is called WAR and this is the origin of WAR-FARE (warfare). Warfare is the price you must pay at certain times if your situation must change in life. That you have to “fight” to liberate your destiny from the strongholds of spiritual wickedness; does that mean that God does not like you? NO. It may be a needed price. Unfortunately, many believers are “bread and butter Christians”, they do not understand spiritual warfare.

Your welfare in life is not in funfair alone but in warfare. Even the Bible does not say we won’t battle, but it says “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places”…and; “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds” (Ephesians 6:12; 2 Corinthians 10:4)

Friend, it is needful to have a warfare mentality. But do not forget that there is no new battle line to be drawn; Christ already finished it on the cross…we fight an already won battle; you cannot lose out; “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith” (1 John 5:4). Just keep your faith online, and take whatever is yours.

Pray with me; “ANY HAND THAT IS ATTEMPTING TO COVER MY GLORY AND HIDE MY DESTINY; CATCH FIRE IN JESUS’ NAME!!!”

Now you got it…that is the way to go; “This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare” (1 Timothy 1:18)

YOUR ARRIVAL POINT

Life is in phases. You must identify three significant phases of your life…and two of these are here (on earth) while the third is the ultimate eternal destiny (Heaven of Hell).

The first is your arrival point (also known as entry point) which is the focus in view. Everyone has got an arrival point and this not represents one’s earthly destiny. Your arrival point is your beginning and for a lot of people, it is usually characterized by smallness. That point where you struggle to live and make a living. It is a phase where it seems you are still behind in life or not making progress.

The days when you literally depend on other people to etch out a living…when you find your life seeming to depend on somebody who is rather not willing to help you…when you do those jobs to just strengthen the hope of the next breath. For some, the arrival point was on foreign soil…in the best hospital…in the best mansions; but some, it was in the “mud” of poverty…the shadows of pains and lack…the rising sun of struggles…and the most lowly of homes; this is where many found themselves. But, whatever it was, it was just an arrival point…it is not where your life is meant for. It is an entry point for you into the journey of life. It is but a background which is not destined to put your back on the ground. It is just one of life’s phases.

 For some, this arrival point lasts for a small number of years such that by 20years of age, they are liberated. For others, it happens before 20years…and yet for some, it extends beyond 20years, reaching 30 and even beyond. But, it does not last for a lifetime!

Jesus had an entry point too…born of Mr. Joseph, a carpenter, and Miss Mary, perhaps a full time housewife. His birth was in a manger. He helped His earthly parents in the father’s carpentry workshop. It was not His end, it was just a start. But when the time came, “Heaven Opened” to Him (Luke 3:21), and that was the beginning of greatness in His life and ministry. He was about 30years old then. Jesus’ arrival point lasted for over 29years, but ended one day. Friend, one day is too much to forget the past and be a part of the beautiful future.  

It is not a sin that you are where you are…but it is a truth that you won’t remain there for too long. Your Heaven is just about to open, and that will be the beginning of greatness in your life…and at that point, the speed with which things will fall in place for you will be so amazing that all those who thought you would remain forever in smallness, they will think again, and come to you for help. WIN!!!

ANATOMY VERSUS ANOINTING

I learnt the anatomy of the reproductive system and I believe medically that it is not possible for a woman to give birth without a womb (uterus) which holds the product of conception until the time of delivery. As a matter of fact, when implantation of the fertilized ovum takes place outside the womb, this is ectopic pregnancy and comes with severe complications and if not treated, can lead to the death of the woman particularly if the ectopic pregnancy ruptures. I learnt this because I have been trained as a professional in that line.

BUT, I have also heard testimonies of women who “had their wombs” removed before (hysterectomy), yet they gave birth. The big question is this; how did it happen? Medically, no explanation and it is simply impossible…It is not even among the ‘never-say-never’ phenomenon in medicine. Now, I believe medicine, BUT, I also believe something that is above medicine. This latter thing that I believe is from above (Heaven), and anything that is above, the Bible says is above all.

If the womb that should hold the baby is absent yet the baby was held in place for nine (9) months without shaking, then there is something that held the baby…something sustained the baby and held it in place, and that thing is called THE WORD OF GOD! Hebrews 1:3 says, “Upholding (other versions=sustaining) ALL things (including a baby) by the WORD of His power”. As a trained medical doctor who knows that there is no way a baby can be there without a womb, I also know that there is something that created the womb that holds the baby, and that thing is the WORD of God; and if the womb is absent, the thing (WORD) that created the womb can also decide to hold the baby itself. This is the working of God, it beats medical knowledge. I have heard people testified how God changed their blood genotypes…medically, I know it is not possible, but spiritually, I don’t just know but I believe ALL things are possible!

Are you trusting God for something? The God that calls the things that be not as though they are…the same God whose words have the capacity to hold things in place and prevent them from falling…the same God will do for you what no man can do. Let faith build up in your spirit…God is working still!

THE SPIRITUAL GRAVITATIONAL FORCE

The earthly law of gravity states that anything that goes up must surely come down…and this holds true, relatively though. But, considering the fact that there are phenomenal accounts where this law has been flawed, it is glaring that there is a higher law below which gravity operates.

Starting with Enoch; he went away, and gravity did nothing about that. Then came Elijah, he also went away, and then some men assembled themselves together and explained something called gravity to him. At that point, Isaac Newton had not been born not to talk about him discovering the law of gravity. But this law had always been in existence and men knew of it. It just means that nothing new exists…anything that seems not to exist has simply not been discovered. Those men, perhaps the forefathers of Newton, gathered themselves together and told Elisha that there was the possibility that when Elijah was taken into Heaven the law of gravity would have pulled him down and “cast him upon some mountain, or into some valley” (2 Kings 2:16). Then they went in search of Elijah, but after many days, they gave up because the man (Elijah) also beat the law of gravity. Then came Jesus, as He ascended, not only could death and the grave not hold Him back, even gravity could not hold Him captive…He simply ascended to Heaven.

There must be a higher force that pulled all these people to the throne of God…and it is the Spiritual Gravitational Force (SGF). It is a force that has been experienced by people who have been taken in their spirits to see Heaven. It is described as an involuntary force that pulled them to the throne of God. And an Angel explained to someone that two (2) such forces exist in the supernatural; one is the force that pulls sinners to Hell, and the other which is the higher one pulls saints to the throne of God in Heaven. At death, one of these two (2) forces pulls the spirit of the person to where he/she will spend eternity; Heaven or Hell. And at rapture, the higher force will pull the saints to the throne of God, and no force of gravity will be able to pull them back. But for those who will not make it, the force of gravity keeps them on the earth for the “ministry” of the antichrist.

Friend, which force is operational at the moment and shall be operational in your life when the ROLL SHALL BE CALLED YONDER? JESUS IS COMING SOON…There is a Heaven to Embrace, and a Hell to Escape. God help us and keep us on the way to Heaven.

THE SPIRITUAL SIGNIFICANCE OF THESE LAST THREE (3) MONTHS

The other time He spoke and said against popular and negative impressions that the EMBER months are evil laden, He will make it according to the letters of the word for him that believeth (E=Excellence; M=Moving Forward; B=Beauty; E=Eternity Focus; R=Rest…EMBER).
And now, He is saying something about these remaining three (3) months. Let us

see;
David carried it aside into the house of Obededom the Gittite. And the ark of the LORD continued in the house of Obededom the Gittite THREE MONTHS: and the LORD blessed Obededom, and all his household. it was told king David, saying, The LORD hath blessed the house of Obededom, and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the ark of God (2 Samuel 6:10-12)
October to December is three (3) months. Did you notice that it was within three (3) months that God turned the life-story of Obededom into a life-time of glory. God not only blessed Obededom, He blessed his HOUSE (Family, Children, Marriage, etc). This blessing encompasses financial, material, academics, marital, etc. I have a leading and mandate to announce to you that something heavy will drop into your life and family within these three (3) months that will make you become a wonder to many. Do not entertain fear which gives access to the devil.
By revelation, during these remaining 3 months (October-November-December), just like the 3 months that changed the story of Obededom, your condition is changing. You are stopping to beg; to fail; to cry; to lack….Change, help, glory is coming your way!!!
I see visitation in your life, family, and finances. Before the ark landed in the house of Obededom, there was perhaps no mention of his name anywhere before in the Bible, but after the blessing that accompanied the coming of the ark, the man’s name started featuring thereafter in David’s agenda. I see you moving from the backseat of retrogression and obscurity into the front seat of destiny and greatness that God has reserved for you. No more will your glory be hidden among your family and peers.
I hear an assured whisper; the storehouse of Heaven is being opened…let the presence of God which the ark symbolizes be evident in your life, and just connect with a seed, faith and lifestyle of holiness.
By the end of December, your story would have changed and you will sing a new song into 2013 (If Jesus tarries). You are blessed. Go and win!

WHEN GOD IS WITH YOU

“We know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except GOD BE WITH HIM” (John 3:2)

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for GOD WAS WITH HIM” (Acts 10:38)

Nicodemus and co sat down and imagined the things happening in the life of Jesus and through His life and ministry; they explored all information available to them in order to find out how come Jesus’ life was very outstanding. They traced His birth to a manger which was perhaps to them an insignificant discovery. They found out his (earthly) father was a carpenter and not even a furniture maker. They also saw that his (earthly) siblings were visibly around…and all these did not correlate with what they could see happening in His life, and so they discovered what His secret was: “GOD WAS WITH HIM”. Simple! All that He did (mighty works, healing, success, miracles, influence) were because of this simple but powerful factor-“GOD WAS WITH HIM”.

Friend, it is the presence of God in your life that will make the difference. Your background, educational standing, and what have you, put together cannot stand near what the presence of God will do in your life and destiny. A life without God is a life in the shadows of manipulation.

I remember that ass that carried Jesus into Jerusalem. Many people do not know the background of that ass that was a part of that triumphant entry…the ass was from the village; a villager so to speak: “(Jesus) Saying unto them, Go into the VILLAGE over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me” (Matthew 21:2). We can as well say a “villager” shook a whole city because it was carrying God. People put their clothes on the ground for the ass to step upon not because of its personality, but because of whom it was carrying-JESUS! Honour will pour in for you when your life carries God. A carrier of God excels in whatever career he/she does.

You can pursue money; you can pursue career…but until you are in pursuit of God, you are not ready for a life of TRUE GREATNESS, which is a life that reverberates in eternity. Is God in your life? How much time do you spend with God daily in prayers, studying of the word and meditation? You can lose many things, but the reason you will not lose everything is God. Can you pray with me; “God, take you place in my life today in Jesus’ name”.
